South Korean online saless are all set to give china shivers, as Mobile commerce in south korea has recorded its all time best " growth of over 79% and is growing rapidly in South Korea, according to Q1 2015 data from Statistics Korea (KOSTAT). Business-to-consumer (B2C) ecommerce sales were up 79.2% over Q1 2014 on mobile devices—more than four times the growth rate of total B2C ecommerce sales over the same period. -
with 45million internet users and growing by 8%, South Korea has a 91% internet penetration

- Travel formed 16% and was the largest share of the mobile commerce pie while aparrel and clothing no 2 followed by home equipment's ,auto parts and food and beverages
- According to Criteo, 50% of all ecommerce transactions were mobile based as of a Q1 2015, up from 45% in Q4 2014.
- Data from We Are Social and the Interactive Advertising Bureau Singapore (IAB Singapore), show 62% South Korean's have purchased online, out if which 37%, had shopped via mobile
