I am today posting pinkman kernel, a custom kernel built for our awesome MOTO G2 by XDA senior member slukk.... This kernel has better performance and battery life than the stock one so I think u all must give it a try....This kernel supports both KITKAT and LOLLIPOP ( CM 12 included ) ....

INSTRUCTIONS-
1. For best results a install these kernel after a fresh ROM install.
2. Reboot into recovery
3. Flash Kernel Zip
4. Reboot and let your phone Settle for ~10 minutes (optional but recommended)
5. Enjoy!!!
