OnePlus releases Dash Charge kernel code to enable custom ROM support| for sock rom go to rompure.com

The OnePlus 3 has fast charging tech called Dash Charge, a first for the company. However, the necessary code for third-party ROMs and kernels to support Dash Charge simply didn't exist at launch. OP said it would release the necessary code by the end of July, and lo and behold, here it is right on time.
Dash Charge is a licensed version of VOOC from Oppo. The OnePlus 3 is the first phone available widely outside of Asia to support this standard. It requires code on the phone and hardware in the adapter to work, but now developers have access to the code necessary to keep Dash Charge working with custom software. The hardware will still be a limitation, though. You can only get Dash Charge cables and adapters from OnePlus right now. There are no plans to expand that to third-parties.
Developers who want to start playing around with Dash Charging in their projects should resync their Git Hub repositories. The charging-related changes are found in the following repositories.
  • android_vendor_qcom_thulium
  • android_vendor_oneplus_oneplus3
  • android_kernel_oneplus_msm8996
  • android_device_qcom_sepolicy
